Cascina Alberona

Riserva Alberona
It's the spearhead of Cascina Alberona's production: its best selection of Carnaroli Classico rice, limited quantity, seasoned 24 months in temperature controlled silos inside the farm, for an even more valuable rice.

Carnaroli Classic Rice
It is a very fine variety of superfine rice. The grain is big and about 7 mm long, elongated and cerulean color with small white pearl center.
Ideal for Risotti.

Arborio Rice
It has a long, semi-round, slightly squared, pearly shape. It is a historical variety of Italian rice growing that takes its name from the town of Vercelli where the variety was selected in 1946.

Baldo Classic Rice
The Baldo has a great ability to absorb the seasonings releasing starch during cooking is recommended for the majority of rice that will be blended and creamy.

Vialone Nano Rice
It s a variety of traditional rice Bassa Veronese. Has as declared feature that they are grown in irrigated areas with spring water, in practice its area of production coincides with the upper catchment area of the river Tartaro.

36-48 hours pre-fermentation cold maceration (4°C).
In stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C.

Pietrerose
Late harvest (surmaturo) Merlot grapes and Marzemino.
12 months in oak barrels and a minimum of 12 months in bottle.

La Moglie del Re
Verdese Bianco 100%.
Oxidation process, in controlled temperature conditions.
In stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 16-18°C.
La Costa

Brigante Rosso
90% Merlot, 10% Pinot noir.
Fermented in steel, aged for 12 months in steel and large barrels.
Tasting notes: Merlot's typical hints of red fruit are enriched by Pinot noir's contribution of small berries, violets and spices. On the palate, freshness and remarkable sapidity are integrated into a smooth structure.

Brigante Bianco
Chardonnay, Manzoni bianco, Verdese.
Fermentation and brief aging in steel, in bottled in February 2024.
Tasting notes: The warm vintage led to significant ripening of aromatic components. On the nose, exotic fruit, bergamot, orange blossom. On the palate, the sapidity is intense and persistent.

Brigante Rosato
Pinot Noir, Syrah.
Cold maceration in the press for a few hours with the skins and fermentation in stainless steel.
Tasting notes: Bright, luminous color on the hue of raspberry. Aromas of small red fruits, pomegranate, rosehip berry and cyclamen. On the palate good sapidity and surprising persistence.
